The Mountain Bike Hall of Fame will be hosting the 31st Annual Pearl Pass Tour to Aspen
The Mountain Bike Hall of Fame will be hosting the 31st Annual Pearl Pass Tour to Aspen on September 15th and 16th, 2007. The Tour is back to being a ride to Aspen over Pearl Pass on Saturday and the return ride to Crested Butte via Taylor and Star Passes on Sunday. Both of these days the rides are rated as expert taking between 7 and 9 hours. Train accordingly. There will be a shuttle from Aspen to get people and bikes back to Crested Butte on Sunday morning if you are not up for the return pedal. (or if the weather turns to crap) Please let me know if you are interested in that shuttle as space will be limited.
This is a free tour. If you use our sag vehicle to get your gear and clothing change over to Aspen there is a $10.00 fee. The shuttle home from Aspen will run about $40.00 per person. If you plan on coming just drop a RSVP so we will know how many folks to expect. Pray for Indian Summer weather.
We will meet at the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame Museum, 4th and Elk, Crested Butte Saturday the 15th at 8:30 am. The tour will leave at 9:00 am.

P.S. I was able to find lodging on hotels.com. Look for lodging in Aspen as Snowmass is 10-12 miles from. There is public transport to get you to Snowmass if you find lodging there.
